The winners are chosen by three judges that our coming in from our community and one of them is last year’s “People’s Choice” winner. Junior Morgan Pleasant and her two friends, juniors Allie Markell and Hannah Tran, enter the talent show in hopes of winning.

Pleasant decided to join the talent show because her friends suggested it and she took the offer. The three danced to “Bhoom Bhoom” by Momoland.

“For me the show is less about the dancing and more about enjoying the shared time with my friends,” Pleasant said.

With the help of her parents, Pleasant was able to be prepared for the show. Her step-dad and mom went “above and beyond” and provided transportation to and from her friend’s house for late night practices.

“My parents have been very supportive and have made sure I have everything I need to be ready for the big night,” Pleasant said.

Pleasant feels confident about her group because the three have had some sort of experience in dance. Even though Pleasant feels good about her performance, she fears that she will get stage fright and freeze up. She has had stage fright before,

“With the support of my group members, Allie Markell and Hannah Tran, I know my nervousness can be overcome,” Pleasant said.
